High content of fixed carbon, low sulfur
content, stable carburetion effect and high absorptivity of carbon.
Scope of Application
Applied to the carburetion of various electro-smelting
cast steel and cast iron.
Granularity
common granularity: 0-10mm, or supplied
upon users’ special requirement
Method of Application
1) Adjusting carbon content while blending,
and adding it to the place below the middle part of the electric furnace
along with metal furnace charge when melting down liquid steel (iron)
in accordance with the requirement of carbon content; absorptivity of
carbon could reach 90%-95%; during strong carburant melting, residue shall
not appear, otherwise, it is easy to be wrapped in the non-waste residue
and influence the absorption of carbon thereby;
2) after the liquid steel (iron) melting, adjusting carbon content,
which may be added on the surface of liquid steel (iron); while melting
down through electric furnace, atirring stirring or manual stirring of
liquid steel (iron) makes the carbon dissolved and absorbed, and the absorptivity
of carbon is approximately 85%.
